How Drug Dependency Influences First Degree Family Members?

The risk of developing a medicine dependency is 8 times better in children of addicts. This finding is consistent with research study that shows a biological basis for the disease. The results of addiction can be inherited, but there are some safety elements to prevent. First-degree family members of addicted individuals were studied. The study showed that a kid of an addict is 8 times more probable to create an addiction than a kid of a non-addict.
